Park Scholarships is pleased to welcome Stephanie Bunn as the program’s liaison with University Development and Central Major Gifts. Bunn will build and support relationships with Park Scholarships alumni, parents, and friends to strengthen the program.

Bunn will partner with current and prospective donors, connecting them with philanthropic opportunities that will make a positive impact on the trajectory of the Park Scholarships program. These investments build upon the Park Foundation’s transformative $50 million endowment and ensure the program’s long-term success.

Bunn is a 2005 graduate of NC State’s College of Design and College of Humanities and Social Sciences. As a student, she was a University Scholar and DaVinci Dual Degree Scholar, participated in Service Raleigh, and studied abroad in Florence and Prague. She began her career with NC State’s 4-H program, before joining the alumni programs team at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.

At ECU, Bunn worked with the East Carolina Alumni Association, the College of Education, and held multiple roles in the Division of University Advancement. As the director of women’s philanthropy and constituent development, Bunn focused on fund development and relationship building. She collaborated with the Women’s Roundtable on a variety of initiatives including establishing new endowments for need- and merit-based student aid. In 2016, she was promoted to advancement officer on ECU’s regional university development team and consistently exceeded her fundraising and engagement goals. During her time as an advancement officer, she also served as a liaison to the ECU College of Engineering and Technology and Academic Libraries, helping drive development initiatives in those program areas. In her most recent fiscal year with ECU, she secured over $1.7M for academic programs and priorities.

Bunn is excited to return to her alma mater and brings a strong record of success to her new position at NC State. Outside of fundraising, Bunn has been a charter member and past president of the Junior League of Greenville, NC. She is married to a fellow member of the Wolfpack. They have two children and reside in Greenville, NC.
