Park Scholarships Welcomes Dana Dubis

The Park Scholarships team is pleased to welcome Dana Dubis as the program’s development associate.

In this new position, Dubis will serve as a key point of contact for the Park Scholarships’ fundraising and development-related initiatives – both the internal, detailed logistical tasks and communications work, as well as the relational, external roles required to foster support for the Park Scholarships.

The Park Scholarships development associate position was created as part of the program’s efforts to grow its endowment. In 2013, the Park Foundation announced a $50 million gift—the largest single gift in NC State’s history—to begin an endowment for the Park Scholarships program. Now, as NC State undertakes its Think and Do the Extraordinary Campaign, the Park Scholarships program is excited to continue building on this generous gift and grow its endowment.

A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Dubis holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and communication studies and a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Regis University. She comes to us from UNC School of Law where she served as the director of annual giving for eight years, managing strategy and development activities related to annual giving, leadership giving and stewardship programs. Her career in philanthropy began at United Way of the Greater Triangle where she directed giving campaigns at workplaces throughout the Triangle community. Dubis’s prior experience also includes working with diverse nonprofit organizations, spanning from international nonprofit agencies in Latin America to youth advocacy programs in Denver, Colo.
