A couple years ago, the Park Alumni Society began a journey. We started a tradition of giving back to the University and the Park program in a tangible way. Thanks to Park alumni, we raised nearly $40,000 to support the Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center and to establish a Park Alumni Society Study Abroad Fund.
Now, we want to continue our strong commitment to the program and send more of our current scholars overseas for educational experiences they'll remember forever.
A gift to the Study Abroad Fund will help in two ways:
- It allows the scholars to make plans for next Fall and next Spring with the knowledge they’ll have funds available to them, and
- It helps us meet our goal of endowment so these awards are available into the foreseeable future.
Involvement is our number one goal this year. Please give whatever you can. We are aiming for 50% participation, and would like to be able to fund at least five students per semester.
